What we've been up to...

Bella is petting the dog with her feet...  Crumpet is content to let her.  Bella also has tendency to throw her food on the ground when she is done eating.  When we say "No no Bella"  Crumpet knows that's her cue to get up and get a snack...

4th of July swimming at Great Mills Pool...

Bella is getting very good at walking while holding on to things... She'll go from bike to table to couch. She can also stand up and get herself back down with no problem now.

Happy Bella in a new outfit from Aunt Jill, Uncle Tracy, Tyler and Gabby.... She is playing with a new ladybug toy from Peggy, Paul, & Beckah - which she loves...

Bella likes to share.  Anytime she finds something she'll hand it to us.  In this case, it's a coaster she got off the table.  She also likes to share her food.

Bella crawled all the way up the stairs for her bath today.  She says "up up up" as she goes up the stairs.  She can go down the stairs now too - safely!  (None of that head first business she was doing before...)

"Hi!"  Bella often says hi and waves... whether she is just seeing you for the first time or if you're in the middle of giving her some yogurt.

This is another new toy from Peggy, Paul, and Beckah.  The elephant shoots balls out of it's trunk.  Bella knows how to put the balls in the ears and truck and can turn it on again after it times out.

Then she got creative and tried to put her sippy cup in the trunk.

... and then she tried her clothes.  A little later I found one of her shape toys in the trunk... so she is definitely experimenting with what will fit...

Kissing Mr. Elephant

All smiles!

Bella is sitting on the vent while the a/c is one and she is wondering why the drawstring on her pants is blowing up.... she kept putting it down and it would fly back up again...

Bella and I had a pleasant Monday today.  We went to story time at the library, where they do stories and music.  She LOVED the music parts.  She would stand up, bounce, and clap her hands.  She was a little less attentive during the story times, but she did pretty well for a one year old... :)
