She crawled across the room to get to Crumpet and then petted her very nicely.  You can see Crumpet's tail wagging.

Sleeping with her bottom up in the air... She did that for both naps today... 

Monday to Saturday Pictures

I had to cut myself out of the picture because I was making a ridiculous face!   She was cracking up...

Bella got a birthday present early.  I saw Bella playing with this at daycare and she loved it so much that we had to get one for home...

This is her way of thanking us... she "gives 'loves'" (something between a hug and a kiss?)

Just singing and dancing along with the music... she "bops" every time the music plays

She likes touch and feel books... especially the crinkly or rough ones.  The beetles are her favorite page in this book.

11 months old already!!?

I swear, every month she is less cooperative with the picture taking.  

 

Intrigued by her 11 month sign, this is how she wanted to sit... 

but we kept turning her around...

At 11 months old...  Bella:

-is still sleeping like a champ at night (knock on wood) with 2 naps a day

-able to do her own version of crawling, scooting, and rolling to get wherever she wants to go

-loves toys with music and will "dance" when it plays

-claps on cue when you say "yay!"

-eats little bites of whatever we are eating.  (favorites: baby yogurt, black beans, cheerios)

-drinks out of straw sippy cups

-likes to flip through board books on her own, especially the touch and feel kind

-points to pictures in books and likes to "read" with us

-loves to watch Baby Signing Time and Sesame Street

-gives "baby kisses" when she feels like being nice (but be careful, she'll swat you too!)

-has her 8th tooth coming in

-does not enjoy being strapped in one place (such as in her car seat) for any length of time

Mother's Day Weekend

This was on Saturday.  I thought Bella looked cute, but she didn't want to have her picture taken.  Another sign that she is my daughter.

Here is a comparison that Anthony made of me and Bella... of course, I was a little older than Bella....

We went to the nearby park for Mother's Day.

She kept doing this again and again today.... Pushing the keyboard, "dancing" to the music, then doing it again... 

First little crawls

Bella is trying to figure out this crawling business.... This was Thursday evening.  

Anthony and I were marveling over her crawling and then we look over and she is sitting up (which she just figured out how to do!)  When I got her out of bed on Friday morning she was sitting up again.  She's learning some fun new skills.
