Saturday

These are a few pictures from today.  We just did some shopping and then hung out at home.  We are all just resting and trying to get over our colds.  Bella seems to be doing a lot better.  She just has a little bit of a cough left.  She got her dad and me sick though.  We have kleenex boxes in every room...

This happened earlier in the week....  I went in to get Bella at 7 something in the morning to get ready for daycare.  I hadn't heard a peep from her all night.  This is how she was SLEEPING when I went in her room....  The green thing around her arms is her swaddle that was around her body when she went to bed....  Silly girl.

Poor Baby

Bella had a tough time going to sleep last night from coughing so much and she has been sick for over a week now.  Since she sounds so congested in her chest, we made an appointment with the doctor today just to make sure her lungs still sounded clear.  Luckily, no signs of fluid!  We're hoping she gets rid of this cold soon though!  Poor baby just sounds awful.  (But she is still just as happy as ever...)

7 months!

Bella is officially 7 months old today!  Unfortunately, she is under the weather so we have delayed her 7 month picture shoot.  She slept on the way home from daycare (see picture below), woke up to eat some solids, took a bath to try to easy some congestion, had a little bit of a bottle and then went right to sleep.  We'll try to get pictures up by this weekend.  Hopefully she is feeling better soon!  

This was Wednesday.  I took off work because I had a doctor's appointment and Bella wasn't feeling very well (coughing, runny nose, congestion).... not that you'd be able to tell by this picture.

My Weekend

Hello Dearest Family and Friends.  It's me again....(Bella!)  Here were the highlights of my weekend!  

This is me hanging out on Saturday morning.  Mom had this cute tu-tu on me, but she had to change my clothes because I couldn't stop taste-testing it.  She said tu-tus are not for eating.  I disagree.

That daddy, he is soooo silly.  He always makes funny faces and noises at me.

I'm hanging out with mom watching Baby Signing Time here.  The parental units want me to do some strange hand movements when I want something, but I find it's much more efficient to just fuss.

Thursday is my 7 month birthday!  These birthdays just keep sneaking up on me.

Bella loves to pet Crumpet.  We're trying to teach her how to be gentle but sometimes she just wants to claw at her fur!  Luckily Crumpet is just ecstatic to have the attention.

I watched the beginning of the Steelers' game with dad.  He didn't sound too happy.

I tried to take my Sophie giraffe from mommy.

I played with my toys while sitting up like a big girl.

I laughed real hard when mommy did the Itsy Bitsy Spider.

I smiled at Daddy when he came home from work.

It was such a busy week!

Steelers Sunday

These are pics from today. Just hanging out at home and a quick run out to Target. Notice the flower so passersby know she is a girl. :)

New tricks:
Bella can sit up well on her own... Topples after a few minutes.
Bella sits in the shopping cart now and loves to look around.
She can find her binky and put it in her mouth. She also can manipulate knobs on her toys pretty well.
She giggles up a storm when you tickle her.
She "talks" all the time with lots of intonation. Lots of "dada" but no association with the concept yet.
Sleeps from about 5:30 or 6 to 4 am. Then has a bottle and back down til 7:30. Still doing three naps too.
