Bella Ready for Christmas / Eating

This is Bella eating some prunes. She recently started eating "solids", like carrots, peas, bananas, and rice cereal. She seems to like most of it, but really took to the prunes, but unfortunately they did not agree with her digestion. Or maybe they agreed TOO much...

Smiley little baby. She has to wear a bib all the time due to her teething. We spotted 2 tiny teeth nubs in the bottom front of her mouth this past weekend. She's been a bit fussy, and has had some congestion due to getting these teeth in.

5 months old today!

Bella is doing well at 5 months.  She has her 2nd cold, but it doesn't seem to bother her too much and she still has been sleeping okay.  Bella continues to "talk" to us and squeal and giggle.  She is interested in everything around her, especially the dog.  She loves rice cereal, carrots, and bananas.  She thought peas were just okay.  She rolled over again last night, but she's mostly content just to put her feet in her mouth.  She likes to watch Daddy play the guitar, play in the exersaucer and jumparoo at daycare, and pull Mommy's hair, but nothing compares to her love for bathtime.  She just splashes and kicks and smiles the whole time.

I was going to post a video of her eating some rice cereal, but the video camera died before it was uploaded!  I guess it will have to wait!  She did much better with it today than the past couple days.  She actually opened her mouth when the spoon got close. :)  That's a step in the right direction...

This was from last Sunday.  She was smiley and pleasant all morning and then miserable all evening and over night.  It was her first bad cold. :(  Luckily she is feeling so much better now.  

Yesterday we went to Colton's Point, which is a little historic landmark in the county that we had never been to before.  Fun little family outing.

This was before work today....  Bella is on her way to daycare.  (shirt/jacket borrowed from cousin Resa!)
