A few from the past 2 or 3 days

Anthony was trying to calm her down in preparation for bed, but she was downright joyous...

Getting sleepier now...

Miss Independent - Doesn't want us to feed her with a spoon anymore.... only wants to eat if she can do it herself.

Black beans and mandarin oranges.  Yum!

Mmmm...

At 10 months, Bella is:

-mimicking lots of sounds, including ssss, uh, dada, *raspberry sound*, *cough*, *shriek*, etc.

-feeding herself well with her fingers (cheerios, black beans, oranges, pears, bananas, pasta, peas, chicken, etc.)

-still rolling everywhere, not crawling!

-scoots around on her butt a little bit

-has some interest in pulling up to a stand, but hasn't gotten it yet.

- sleeping from about 6:30-6:30... harder to put to sleep recently... has to cry it out for a few minutes before she will sleep.... won't let us rock her to sleep anymore!  But she still sleeps all night. (thankfully!)

-soooo ticklish...

-Still raises her feet off the floor and balances on her butt all the time... I don't know how she does that.

-Stands when holding on

-Favorite toys:  blocks, stacking rings, bathtime rubber toys, plus anything thats not really a toy (the box to her blocks, the plastic container of diaper wipes, ointment tubes, plastic packaging.... etc.)

9 month stats

Even though she's almost 10 months old... Bella had her 9 month well-visit....

She is 20 lbs. (60th percentile) and 29 inches (90th percentile).  Her ear infection is all cleared up.  She was not happy with the doctor who wanted to look in her ears or the lady that pricked her finger for the lead test.... and she made her displeasure known to the whole office!

Yesterday at Grandma Holly's house

Yesterday evening, Bella had a fever.  She's getting in another top tooth and it seems to be bothering her in the evening especially.  She was the same way tonight.  Luckily she was fine for the plane ride home!  This is the only time she wants to cuddle.

Bella did great on the airplane - both ways!!  On the way down, she slept for the first hour and ate her puffs and played for the rest of the time.

Today, we had to wake her up at 4 something in the morning to leave for the airport, and she slept in the car on the way there, slept for about 30 minutes on the airplane and slept the whole way home (2 hours) in the car.  Everyone commented on what a good baby she is.  We were quite worried since was super fussy with a fever last night, but she seemed to be feeling better this morning - thank goodness!
