After this, she went to daycare for an hour while I dropped some stuff off at work and then we went to a play group at a friends house with 4 other kids her age.  Bella had fun playing with some new toys and watching the other kids.  She got REALLY cranky around 1:15 and that's why I knew we should have been leaving for Bella's nap time...  She wasn't in her crib 2 minutes before falling asleep.

Typical Monday

Bella and I had a lovely Monday morning.  She is sleeping now so it gives me a little time to update the blog.

Here is Bella in the bathtub this morning.  Her hand is blurry because she is furiously waving and saying "hi, hi, hi".  The video in the previous post is Bella playing basketball during her bath.  She likes to put her toys in the hoop (even though I discourage her from standing in the tub... it appears she does not listen.)

Today we met some friends at the library for story time and some play time.  This is Jack again.  He was in a previous post where Bella was giving him loves.  They got along just as famously today...

"Mom told me that everyone gets this dressed up to go to the library.  She lied."

(But hey, you gotta wear all these dresses and cute shoes somewhere, right?)

Bethany Beach Trip

A few pictures from our short trip to Bethany Beach.  We met up with Bella's Grammy and PaPa and had a nice mini beach vacation.

Anthony and I got to go out on a date while Grammy and PaPa stayed home with a sleeping Bella.

Walking with a Push "Toy"

This was over the weekend.  Bella seemed to be interested in trying to stand and even take a step or two.  But, she was laughing so hard that she couldn't maintain her balance.   I think she liked falling more than standing/walking.

This is what I caught Bella doing today in the kitchen while I tried to clean up...

So I brought her in the living room and gave her a real push toy...

Since then, she's been walking all around with the push toy and has gotten much more comfortable with it.  It won't be long now until she is confident enough to walk by herself.  Uh oh.

Morning play date

My friend, Anna, came over with her two kids today to play.  Jack is 5 and Kinsey is about 18 months. Bella just turned 13 months.  They had a lot of fun playing together.

The elephant toy was agreed to be the favorite toy in the group.

Bella just loved Jack... and luckily he is used to having a little girl crawl all over him.  She is giving him "loves" here.

4th of July

I'm a little late in getting some 4th of July pictures up here...  But for the 4th, our friends Bryan and Nisha came to visit from DC.  Bryan took these pictures and sent them to us so I thought I'd post them... We went swimming at the community pool and then cooked out on the grill when we came home.  It was SOOO hot!
